Upcoming Exciting Disruptors Events

A new way of living and working?

On 3 October 2018, we hosted an Exciting Disruptors event with Bruntwood and NORR Architects at Platform in Leeds. We explored how traditional forms of living and working are a thing of the past and discuss how the real estate sector is adapting to meet the needs of a new type of customer.

Bruntwood and NORR Architects joined us to discuss how they have identified the demand to change how we live and work and how they and their clients continue to evolve to be more competitive, agile and customer focused.

The event will also covered the increased focus planners and developers have on the mental and physical wellbeing of occupiers in the workplace.

Guests enjoyed an early evening of fascinating presentations, a tour of the building and networking with drinks and canapés.

Will growth of the virtual campus and remote learning affect capital investment?

On 17 May 2018, we discussed the growing trend of virtual campus’ and remote learning and debate the impact this may have on capital investment in the university estate in the future giving guests the opportunity to meet with other senior estates people within the sector and share our thoughts on the question “With the growth of the virtual campus and remote learning, is significant capital investment in the university estate really the future?”.

The launch event

On 8 November 2017, we launched our Exciting Disruptors campaign with an event exploring how autonomous vehicles are changing the way we think about the approach to the location, design and planning of new settlements and urban extensions of the future. Guests enjoyed an early evening of interesting presentations and panel discussion comprising speakers from the Government's Homes and Communities Agency, Bosch, EasyMile and Mills & Reeve.
